QPASTT training sessions have been developed to support services working with people from refugee backgrounds. Our training is designed to enable those services to gain a better understanding of the experiences that this client group goes through prior to their arrival in Australia, and the impact of torture, trauma and settlement on their lives. Costs and Availability Information sessions, conference presentations and lectures are delivered free of charge, depending on availability. Please note: information sessions, conference presentations and lectures of 90 minutes or more, may incur a fee. Guest Speaker Request Forms must be received by QPASTT at least 2 months in advance of the requested session date. Requests with a shorter lead time should be discussed with the Training Coordinator prior to submitting the request. All organisations requesting guest speakers from QPASTT should complete the form below. Alternatively you may download this form as a PDF and submit it to Jessica Edwards and Taryn McBurney, the Training Coordinators at qpastt_training@qpastt.org.au or fax it to (07) 3391 6388.
