School Holiday activities run each school holiday for young people aged 12-24 years and focus on youth participation, youth engagement, support and community development that promote the safety, growth and wellbeing of young people. The program aims to create opportunities for positive social interaction and social development of young people and to help promote their mental and physical wellbeing.
Some holiday activities are run as closed groups for children (aged 4 -12 years) and their carers and families, with a more therapeutic focus for current clients, to support them to engage in ongoing counselling.
Family Fun days are run in the school holidays for children who are receiving counselling and although parents and carers accompany them, the focus is on the children. The main aims of the family fun days are for children to play together and also for parents to play with their children in a supported environment.
