About QPASTT’s training
QPASTT’s training supports professionals, practitioners, service providers, communities, and the broader public to deepen their understanding of refugee experiences, forced displacement, torture, and trauma.
Combining lived experience expertise with specialist clinical knowledge, we provide practical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approaches that are tailored to participants’ roles, organisational contexts, and the communities they support.
We offer a suite of training workshops, delivered throughout the year, either face to face or online.
Costs and availability
Our facilitators are professionals in their fields with current and relevant experience.
Training fees are calculated at $500 per hour.
Training may be delivered onsite at QPASTT in Woolloongabba, depending on availability, or offsite. Offsite training delivery, travel, catering and incidental costs may incur an additional fee.
In certain limited circumstances, where it is consistent with QPASTT funding guidelines and priority areas, training may be delivered free of charge. If you believe your organisation may be entitled to have the training fees waived, please contact our Training Coordinator.
