Donate to QPASTT’s Homework Club and help our young people Belong and Thrive
For twenty-five years, QPASTT has offered culturally sensitive and appropriate specialised support to survivors of torture and trauma. We nurture meaningful futures by assisting people from refugee backgrounds to heal, belong and thrive. Young people are the future, and one way in which they can be supported is in their schooling and studies. QPASTT’s Homework Club is an after school hours program open to young people, 12- 24 years old, from refugee background. Due to the high levels of trauma associated with the refugee experience, the space is not exclusive to homework or study but is also a way to link young people to other therapeutic group programs that QPASTT offers and/to act as a safe space for young people. Students bring their own homework and receive help from a wonderful group of dedicated tutors.
QPASTT receives government funding to cover some of the costs of this specialised service, however your fully tax-deductible donation will help purchase educational resources (including laptops, books and stationery) to assist us in continuing a high quality of educational support to young people.
